Kakao me baby

This title has nothing to do with anything and I am about to lay on you the laziest blog.

I stayed in Friday night though I really wanted to go out but everyone was far away. Saturday had a nice meal and went shopping. We tried out Sinchon and chilled in a lesbian park, got ready and experimented with cough medicine.

We danced at garage and drank in the alley. I also also had fun with Kakao and a friend here. Some friends were stuck in the street drinking beers.

 

The cutest couple, Sophia and some Koreans got friendly. 

 I ate mussels while they went to a foreigner bar I dislike.

Sadly I missed this.

I had a nice dinner with Russ the next day and skipped class. During the week it rained non stop. 

Friday! Met up with these two but a sudden change in plans and 10 hours of class had me grumpy. 

Sophia joined us and after a couple of free drinks from some army guys who believed we were all 19 year old Canadians on holiday all was well. Here's a dog I met. 

Sophia was adamant about getting a kebab. She loves them, would marry and eat their children.

We had a minor altercation with a hotel owner and then I missed my hair appointment. Ate breakfast. 

I made a new one and Mel went to meet up with Jo and Sophia and I went to my hair then had Shabu Shabu. I went shopping and met up with Mel and Jo and friends in Itaewon. I got ready with Mel at Jo's and then we all headed to Hongdae. 

Some how in front of the club we were going to go to we met some men. We danced then some jersey girl took over my spot and I wanted to go out then we met up with some other men and one of them told me he loved me here. Then we went to karaoke for a bit. Same room as last time. Free ice cream!

In other news I was on TV. Here is a still from Korea's got talent. Remember when I won those shoes this beatboxer competed and the footage was used on the show. My boss's son was so pumped.

First Leanda and I met up to go to Club Answer which was alright until this happened.

So we bailed to go to 500 cause I knew many people I knew would be there and it would be fun. Leanda sadly left. I made due and forced JaeMyon get beer with me and then he just tried to steal it. Not friendly. 

I got to see Narae (middle) and Tong (taking the photo). I love them, Narae is a super babe. 

I also met some new people, like this guy. Later Thibault married us. 

Uhhh for some reason I did not go home and instead out with everyone who played or planned the party. Terrible decision. I think I was the only foreigner? There were lots of drinking games I didn't understand the rules of but Yamada helped me out but mostly I was confused. Soju was involved which I have proven many times at this point I am allergic to and should never ever drink.

I think 아기 and I are in a fight but I'm not sure why. Hope it's over soon.

A cool hallway.

I broke my shoe (again) so I had to buy new ones and something to wear cause I didn't go home and then I had a nap in a DVD bong alone. I clearly did not go to class. I met up with Judette who is the nicest, bestest person who I work with in Chuncheon and we then had a nap in a DVD bong together. We met up with many people and it was nice I ran into all the same people from last night ie Jaemyon, Yamada, Suit etc... they all seemed FINE. I was so tired I could barely smile. Like it took genuine effort. I tried the old hair of the dog trick but no luck. Judette's friends were super fun and nice and I learned about the Shuffle. Serious shit and most Koreans are in the know.

Comments of interest.

I know I am not an ugly person but Korea is so weird. I know this is not normal and they just have a strange idea of beauty. Small face and big eyes... I have those. That's it. I have seen some pretty homely girls be told they are very pretty and it really cheapens it or in my case makes it a big joke. I usually ask them how drunk they are or just run away. I would do that with almost anyone regardless of race but seriously. I know I am not that hot or cool don't worry. Mostly who cares.

I am going to Japan! Osaka this time. should be cool... mostly cause I am not in super party mode so sightseeing will be key. I leave soon... like in less then 2 days for 6 days. International lady.

Europe plans are forming!!! I talked to my aunt to and I think I might be in Florida for Christmas. Cool life! I'm just trying to see how much I can fit in and how cheaply in terms of Europe! Can you believe our dollar is doing so great? I can't. What happened America?

The rain sucks... here's some shit I did regardless.

Friday Dre and some other friends skated for a Converse Block party? There was free stuff and it was nice to see people. They all got cute shoes and shirts. Mel and Leanda came too. Cam was there and took this picture that I stole.

Then we all walked to Sinchon and ate something somewhere. I said ya to strangers and Phil said it embarrassed him. WORST FEELING, and I rarely have those about anything. #dissociativedisorder? 

Anyway I am pretty sure I had soju cause nothing after this point is clear or makes any sense. Sorry to those involved if anything I did  affected you in some negative way. I guess we took a cab in the AM for some reason. 

Mel and I stayed in a spa and then found a burger. We made plans with Jaemyeon cause it was his birthday.  I call him 아기 which is Korean for baby because he looks/is young. He is the best and super silly, we love him.  

We also had dinner plans with Cass and went shopping. Joe also met up with us unexpectedly. There were various parties going on plus 아기's bday. It got really confusing and I dont want to write it all but there was Soundholic, Saki, 500, Zen bar and then a hotel with 아기 inbetween Mel and I? No, we don't love him that much. I slept there until late and went to class. 

Next weekend.

Went to Ocean World with Pol, Joe, Leanda and Mel. Fun was had. Line ups were long but conversation was friendly. 

Then the most disastrous night of all fell upon Mel and I.  First we got ready at Leanda's which was the nicest cause I never really get to do that anymore. Then Mel realized she forgot her phone in the cab. So we waited for the cabbie to come back which took 50 minutes. Mel's phone was dead and I had to run out of the cab to use a restroom cause I thought I might die. Then I couldn't find her. Then I did. Then it started to rain. Eventually we charged her phone and locked up our shit. On route to meet up with Leanda I needed to change my contact. I did so while walking thinking I was the coolest until it ripped and got stuck on my eye and Mel had to fish it out for me. Seriously she had to touch my eye and did not wuss out. Finally found club naked. Unfortunately this place was not to our standards. Texted Leanda letting her know we were outside but not entering. Then we just scoped around trying to find something else to do. Stood outside VIA and tried to decide if we should go in. Texted any koreans we knew that could have better plans. nothing. so we went to bar and had some drinks to prepare us for whatever could happen. Those rice chips were the shit. Yeah 2 Duvels.

We resolved to hit up Harlem as we are both fans of hip hop. I fell numerous times due to a combination of beer, heels, wood flooring and rain. Always laughed though even when I fell down the stairs. Finally we took the subway home. I woke up to go to r16 got caught in a couple of traffic jams but got there just in time! I didn't miss a single thing! I am really into this so I wont get started but it was great.

Then this guy performed. He is a really big deal... in Korea.
